Hi, I'm Alex! I'm a 24 year old trans man that is lucky enough to be getting top surgery in March. The surgery is paid for-- the after part though? That's where it gets tricky. Unfortunately, I don't qualify for my employer's disability leave until April 1st, and state disability pays next to nothing (if I even qualified). While, sure, I could ask to postpone it, it could also be incredibly dangerous for me to do so. So many policies can change in a month-- I need to get this done ASAP, for my own safety in the current world. Because of my various health issues, as well as the physical nature of my job, I would have to be out of work through the end of April. These funds would pay my rent for April and May, as well as transportation to my post-op appointment. If anything is left, it would go towards a name change ❤️

Editing to add-- apparently I'm allergic to hydrocodone (guess how I found that out), so now this is also helping with that!
