Urgent: Help Alex Cordero Fight Multi-Organ Fluid Retention & Heart Failure
We are coming to you today because our dad, Alex, is in a critical battle for his life. What started as heart struggles has escalated into a much more dangerous situation. His heart is no longer able to pump effectively, which has caused his body to enter a state of crisis. He is currently suffering from severe fluid retention (edema) across his internal organs.
The Reality of His Condition: When the heart fails to pump, fluid begins to back up into the lungs, liver, and kidneys. For Alex, this means every breath is a struggle, and his organs are under constant, localized pressure. He is currently undergoing intensive diuretic therapy and hospitalization to try and flush the fluid from his system and take the pressure off his heart. He is a fighter, but this is a burden he cannot carry alone. While he is a fighter, this diagnosis has changed his life overnight, and the road to recovery will be long and challenging. We have realized that his current living situation is no longer safe or sustainable for his medical needs. To manage his condition and ensure he follows his strict treatment plan, he needs to be relocated closer to his primary caregivers and medical team.
We are asking for your support to help our dad through this critical time. Any contribution, big or small, will make a difference and is deeply appreciated.
