Hi everyone! I am finishing my three-year volunteer service in Uganda and am set to return home this August. During my time here, I fell in love with my dog Daisy. I absolutely could not have completed my service without her therapeutic presence.
Just as life here has not been easy for me, it hasn't been easy for Daisy, either. As of last year, Daisy only has three legs. It was an emotionally trying time for both of us and because of that bond, I cannot leave her behind.
After volunteering for the past three years, I need some financial help to meet the costs of everything that goes into transporting a dog to the U.S. The breakdown is as follows: vaccinations/certification: $100, transportation (including from my site to the capitol, favorable airline and flight to reduce stress on the dog, and minus modest stipend): $1,000, and the cost of the crate is $400. Therefore, I am humbly asking for your help in reaching my goal of $1,500 by August 1st. I'm not one who usually asks for help, but I need it right now. Please help Daisy start a good life in America with me. Thank you and God bless.
