Alex has spent the majority of her life in hiding as she was surrounded by transphobia and terrified to be her true self. 

She bravely manifested the courage to come out in her thirties and has truly been blossoming over these past seven or so years. 

Still, her heart breaks every time she’s misgendered no matter how pretty she’s done her hair and make up, as her chin and other facial structures have developed into what many read as a strong masculine jawline. No matter how much she loves herself she’s painfully misgendered on a daily basis and hopes to find peace as someone who is less of a target. 

Currently there is no such thing as health insurance which covers this and it’s also not a service which would be provided by the NHS despite dysmorphia being a real and painful medical phenomena for trans people worldwide.
