Hi, my name is Lorie, and I’m raising funds to support my son, Alex, as he takes a major step toward his dream of becoming an aerospace engineer.

As a mother, my goal has always been to provide Alex with every possible opportunity to succeed. He is a hardworking, dedicated young man who has shown an incredible passion for engineering, robotics, and aviation. I want to ensure that financial barriers do not limit his potential or access to life-changing experiences—experiences that young, driven students like him deserve.

This summer, Alex has been given the incredible opportunity to attend the Aerospace Academy at Rice University, a prestigious program that will give him hands-on experience in aeronautics, space exploration, and engineering. This program is exactly the kind of real-world experience he needs to take his dreams to the next level.

Alex’s Dedication & Achievements

Alex has put in the work to prepare for his future. His dedication is evident in his:

✅ Active membership in his high school Robotics Club, where he works on engineering challenges and problem-solving.

✅ Induction into the National Honor Society (NHS) and National Technical Honor Society (NTHS), recognizing his academic excellence and technical skills.

✅ Participation in SkillsUSA competitions, developing leadership and technical expertise.

✅ Service as a PALS mentor to elementary students, giving back to his community by guiding and inspiring younger students.

Despite his hard work and achievements, opportunities like this come at a cost, and I want to ensure he gets the chance to take full advantage of them.
