Help Alex and Sophia Rebuild After Fire
Hi, my name is Alex, and I have a 10-year-old daughter, Sophia. Last night around 6 p.m., my home went up in flames. I was driving to pick up my daughter after a 12-hour work shift at the hospital and saw on my Blink cameras my home going up in flames. My daughter was at her grandparents' at the time, thank God, but my 2 cats were in the fire for 3 hours. They need medical attention for smoke inhalation and have already accrued $500 in vet bills and will need more.
Our apartment is a total loss, and we have nothing. No clothes, shoes, food, gas money, etc. My entire life savings was in my home. This is one of the most devastating things my daughter and I have gone through, and we are extremely shaken up and trying to grieve our home and our possessions right now. Anything will help at all.
