My dear friends,
Alex (Jordan) and Baron Ross are living every parent’s worst nightmare. After years of trying to conceive — including fertility treatments (IUI) — they were finally blessed with a beautiful baby boy. He’s now just 16 weeks old, but his journey has already been unimaginably difficult.
Their son has been diagnosed with severe WOREE Syndrome, a rare and devastating genetic disorder that causes profound developmental, cognitive, and physical delays. The average life expectancy for children with this condition is heartbreakingly short — usually between 2 and 4 years old.
In his short life, this little fighter has already spent nearly half of his days in the hospital. Alex and Baron have been by his side through every moment — learning complex medical care, comforting him through long nights, and trying to find small moments of peace in the chaos.
They fought so hard to bring this baby into the world, and now they’re being told, “Sorry you waited so long and tried so hard, but you only get him for a minute.” No parent should ever have to hear those words.
Alex has had to take time off work to care for her baby full-time, and her job has not made things easy. Between lost income, medical expenses, and caring for their older child, the financial stress is becoming overwhelming.
This fundraiser is to help relieve some of that burden — to cover medical bills, transportation, and day-to-day expenses so Alex and Baron can focus on what matters most: spending precious time together as a family and giving their baby every ounce of love and care he deserves.
If you can donate, please do. And if you can’t, please share this page and help spread the word. Every bit of support means the world to the Ross family — and to all of us who love them.
Thank you for standing with them through the most difficult chapter of their lives.
