Hi everyone!!

I want to introduce myself my name is Alessia! I have some exciting news to share! I have been given an amazing opportunity/calling from Jesus to become a missionary and spread the word of God. I will be joining an organization called YWAM (Youth With A Mission)! At YWAM, I will be in school Monday-Friday learning how to spread the word of God, help those in need, and personally grow/strengthen my relationship with Him! I will be sent to Kona, Hawaii to do my DTS (Discipleship Training School) for three months. After I graduate from DTS, I will be sent out for the outreach phase. The outreach phase will be undetermined until later on when I will go into the least reached parts of the nation to help those in need.

I want to share with you guys why I feel led to go to YWAM. I feel led to go to YWAM because I have felt a big disconnect with people my age and have struggled throughout my life to find others around me with the same values and beliefs as I do other than my family. I have tried to start my own group to get coffee and go to church on Sundays but never got much feedback. I have always kept my faith strong and after months of praying, I was scrolling through social media when I came across YWAM and I knew it was a sign. I have always felt a need to deepen my relationship with God and also spread the word to let Him be known, I thought there would be no better way to do that than to sign up for DTS Least Reached where I will go into the least reached parts of the world to make sure He is known and His word is spread!

In order to make this dream a reality, I need to raise $10,000 by January 31st. With your help, I know I can get there! I am deeply thankful for the support, prayers, and encouragement from everyone in my life. Whether it’s through donations, sharing my story, or keeping me in your thoughts and prayers, every little bit helps and brings me closer to this calling.
