Ale has been the heart of our home for years, caring for us not just through her incredible cooking, but with her warmth and kindness. Now, she and her family are facing a difficult time. Their current apartment has become unlivable due to a severe infestation, and additionally, with three daughters sharing a one-bedroom space, they have truly outgrown their home. Ale dreams of moving them to a better place where each child can have a room of her own.

The home environment means Ale’s family must leave behind most of their furniture and belongings, including her beloved blender, and undertake an intense cleaning of all their clothes. On top of this, Ale’s dog has been struggling with medical issues, leading to extra costs for doctor’s visits and medications. Recently, her partner Omar lost his day job, adding even more stress to their situation. Despite all of this, Ale continues to show up for our home every day, bringing joy and comfort to everyone she meets.

We want to do what we can to support Ale and her family as they search for a new apartment and rebuild their lives. The funds raised will go directly toward moving expenses and replacing the furniture and essentials they must leave behind. Ale has become like a mother to so many residents in our home, and we are so lucky to have her.
