Help Aleksey raise funds for brain tumour therapy

Donation protected

Aleksey is a very dear friend of mine who at the age of just 34 years old woke up to a nightmare
on the 29th December 2020.

Aleksey is a fit and healthy young man who
works as a personal trainer for the renowned
gym chain Gym Box in London, for the last 3
years and he has helped hundreds of people
get up on their feet and change their lifestyles in a healthy sustainable way.

Aleksey started suffering from blurred vision a week before Christmas in December 2020
and went to the opticians for a check up..
whilst there, they discovered an abnormality
and rushed him to A&E at Morefields Eye
hospital who then referred him straight to A &E a St.Thomas’s Hospital in London.
It was then that they found the brain tumour
and booked him in straight away for emergency
surgery at King's college hospital on the same
day! Such a scary and frightening time for him.
He was operated on the 3rd of January by an
amazing team of neurosurgeons led by Jose Lavrador and Franchesco Vergani. The operation
went well and he is recovering now.
Upon removing most of the tumour the biopsy
confirmed the devastating news of a second part of the tumour which  was Glioblastoma
Multiforme.

Aleksey recently married the love of his life on
the 28th November 2020 and they are
expecting their first child together.
His wife is currently in Russia and they are
desperately trying to obtain a visa to have her by his side.
Everything happened so unexpectedly, without
any signs or warnings, leaving him no time to
even prepare, not morraly, not financially.

Aleksey will be starting Chemotherapy and
Radiotherapy in 4-6 weeks, for intensive
treatment Monday to Friday every single
week for at least 6 months .
He is doing an extensive research in to
alternative and new ways in how to treat this
devastating disease

I have started this Go Fund Me page to help us
seek and fund alternative therapy called
Immunological cancer therapy at the IOZK in
Cologne  Germany, for a vaccine called DCVax-L for glioblastoma multiforme costing £150,000
and to help cover the costs of his wife birthing
their child here with him in the UK. They will
face some huge financial difficulties.
Any donation however big or small will be
hugely appreciated by this little family who
had the whole world at their feet and now face
such uncertainty.
