With deep sorrow, I must share that my close friend Aleksei passed away on September 18th. His family is going through an extremely difficult time as they are trying to bring his body back to his home country from the United States for the funeral and burial.

I have created this GoFundMe page to help support Aleksei’s family, who have not seen him for four years, and to assist with the travel of his mother and brother to the U.S. so they can say their final goodbye and prepare all the necessary documents for the repatriation of his body. The funds will also help cover expenses related to the funeral, transportation, and travel.

Any contribution, no matter how small, would be a tremendous support to Aleksei’s family during this heartbreaking time.
