Help Alejandra visit her sick grandma in Mexico

Donation protected
My name is Alejandra Campos and I am a 26 year old DACA recipient who will be applying for Advance Parole, a program that allows DACA recipients to leave the country for educational, work or humanitarian reasons. As you may or may not know, DACA was recently reinstated to its original version, which included language that included Advanced Parole, a program that allows undocumented individuals to leave the country with permission from USCIS and come back to the United States.  Today because of DACA, I will be able to apply for Advance Parole to visit Mexico after more than 20 years. Although this is a very exciting opportunity, it is also a very emotionally heavy one.

The biggest reason for this trip is to visit my grandmother who has been on hemodialysis treatment for some time now.  Although this treatment has tremendously helped her to function properly, my grandma has grown weak & tired and our family doesn't know how much more time we have until she's too tired to take her next treatment. As travel during the uncertainty of COVID times isn't recommended, this decision wasn't an easy one. However, this could possibly be the last time I get to see my grandma.

During these hard times, I kindly ask for your help as there are expenses to this trip, including fees to apply for Advance Parole.

With your help, your donations will go towards paying for the following:

-Attorney fees

-Application fees

-Plane ticket costs

-Money for medicine for my grandma upon arrival

-Money to help my family during my stay in Mexico

Any amount is greatly appreciated and goes a long way! Thank you!
