Hello! I am starting this fundraiser on behalf of my coworker and friend, Alejandra Flacon. Her daughter, Yeyetzi, is currently hospitalized at UCSF. Yeyetzi was diagnosed with Rett Syndrome at two years old and is now four. Rett Syndrome is a rare genetic neurological disorder that effects speech, coordination, and use of hands. On top of the daily obstacles Alejandra and Yeyetzi go through, things have gotten increasingly difficult this last week. Yeyetzi has covid and is not doing well. She is currently in the ICU, intubated, and sedated. The financial stress of their current situation is getting heavier. My goal is to rally friends, family, and our community together so Alejandra can focus on getting Yeyetzi home and healthy. Absolutely anything helps! Thank you so much for taking the time to read.
