Hi my name is Alejandra. I am going through a difficult time. I I had a nervous breakdown/psychotic break due to my bipolar disorder and had to be institutionalized for 3 weeks. When I was released I had to be put back on new medications and when I contacted my employer they told me that I had been let go. My health insurance lapsed because I was not allowed to even use my cell phone and so now I have a huge medical bill based on my treatement and hospitalization. I had also not been able to pay my rent and I am now three months behind on my rent and my landlord has threatened to take legal action to evict me.

I am an honest and hardworking person and am just trying to keep a roof over my head. I went to apply for ERAP, but the funds have run out for Queens County. Therefore, I am asking for help from friends and anyone who has been in a tough situation like this before.

I have lived in the U.S. for ten years and I love this country and the people in it. I just need some help to get over this difficult moment. Any donations are welcome.
