Help a devoted mother fight Breast Cancer

My name is Jean Cantu, and I am a former teacher of one of Alejandra Loya’s children. I have known this family for many years and have watched her children grow into responsible, hard-working young adults — the kind of young people every community would be proud to claim. Their strength, kindness, and determination are a direct reflection of how they were raised.

Alejandra Loya is a devoted mother of three and a woman known for her kindness, faith, and tireless work ethic. After many years of building a life for her family, she now faces a devastating battle with breast cancer while living far from the loved ones she raised and supported. Her children — all hardworking young adults who grew up here and are contributing members of our local community and are all BISD graduates — are doing everything they can to help. But Alejandra has no stable income and limited access to affordable care.

This fundraiser will go directly toward her cancer treatment, medications, and living expenses as she fights to regain her health.

Alejandra has always been a giver — now she needs others to give her a chance to keep living. Every donation, big or small, helps her fight another day.

Me llamo Jean Cantú y fui maestra de uno de los hijos de Alejandra Loya. Conozco a esta familia desde hace muchos años y he visto a sus hijos crecer hasta convertirse en jóvenes adultos responsables y trabajadores, el tipo de jóvenes que cualquier comunidad se enorgullecería de tener.
