This GoFundMe is to support Alejandra and her family with their legal fees.

After 21 years of living in the United States, Alejandra and her husband have been served an order of removal by a judge. They have until mid-April either to appeal the decision or return to Mexico with three of their children. Alejandra is the heart of our Mountain View community. She has impacted the lives of hundreds of people in school and beyond, and Charlottesville would not be the same place without her and her family.

Alejandra and her family exhausted all funds on their first round of legal fees to apply for residency. We are asking for donations to attempt to appeal the case one more time.
