On July 4, 2021, Alecia Jackson's world was shaken by a two car accident that ended in her dining room. Alecia is a single grandmother raising her teenage granddaughter; as they sat to enjoy their holiday meal, their peace and quiet was destroyed as a car came barreling through the wall only feet from where they sat. This accident destroyed many of their belongings and well as any hopes for a secure roof over their heads.
