Alec, someone many of you know really well, was injured in May when he was hit by a Jeep. His left leg was fractured and his left knee sustained extreme trauma. And now, as he faces an uphill battle towards a full recovery, the medical bills are mounting.
The driver at fault's insurance has a cap on the amount available to Alec. On top of that, Alec’s own insurance has laid claim to that money, which has launched a legal battle between Alec and his own insurance company.
The mounting medical bills have already exceeded the settlement amount, and Alec’s insurance does not cover all costs of the 3 surgeries he has already had and the looming 4th.
