Help Alec With Medical Costs

While this holiday season is a bit awkward thanks to Corona, the core message of this time of the year is still the same: love, friends, faith, and helping others. That’s why we’re asking for your help as my boyfriend, Alec Sears, deals with medical and legal expenses.

Alec, someone many of you know really well, was injured in May when he was hit by a Jeep. His left leg was fractured and his left knee sustained extreme trauma. And now, as he faces an uphill battle towards a full recovery, the medical bills are mounting.

The driver at fault's insurance has a cap on the amount available to Alec. On top of that, Alec’s own insurance has laid claim to that money, which has launched a legal battle between Alec and his own insurance company.

The mounting medical bills have already exceeded the settlement amount, and Alec’s insurance does not cover all costs of the 3 surgeries he has already had and the looming 4th.
