Help Alec beat cancers ass

Hi, my name is Todd Hoyer. I've started this Go Fund Me account for a best friend of mine, Alec Engle. He has been off work fighting his battle with RMS (Rhabdomyosarcoma) since January of 2021. Alec is currently at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas and has been there since mid September. What i'm trying to do is raise money for himself and some medical expenses. Without the long details of the past few months, here is the latest update with some great news from his mother.

It was a good news day yesterday!! The doctor was very pleased with results of the PET scan! There is no sign of a active disease in the head & neck area!! There are a couple spots in spine/vertebrae that are still active. He said it looked much better than the last scan! Alec’s platelets are now up to 23,000 with no transfusions, his hemoglobin is hanging tough and his white counts are great!! They gave him the he weekend off without any appointments. Monday he will get his “pre-chemo” shot & then start chemo on Wednesday as inpatient. We may try to come home around November 8th if our doctor here feels comfortable transferring his care to home. He will get a total of 6 rounds of this particular regiment of chemo and then at least 6 rounds of another kind of chemo. Will be a long road but at least we are on the correct freeway!!
