Our dear friend Ale is facing one of the hardest moments of his life. He has recently run into legal trouble and is now being held by Travis County with an ICE hold. We are desperately trying to raise funds to hire an immigration lawyer who can fight for him and keep him from being sent to an ICE detention facility.

Ale is originally from Venezuela and is married to our close friend Rich. They’ve built a life together here, surrounded by friends who love and support them. The thought of Ale being torn away from his husband and locked away in a detention center is heartbreaking and something we are determined to prevent.
