Seven months ago, I went to the ER with severe abdominal pain, not knowing how much my life was about to change. Since then, I have undergone seven surgeries—three of which were needed because of complications from the previous ones. The final surgery left me hospitalized for 45 days, unable to eat solid food or drink any liquids for over two months. During that time, I was fed through a PICC line, and every day was a struggle to regain my strength and hope. During this period, I also had to undergo a colostomy surgery, which has added new challenges to my daily life.
This journey has been incredibly challenging, both physically and emotionally. The long hospital stays, multiple surgeries, and the adjustment to life after a colostomy have left me with significant medical bills and ongoing care costs that I am struggling to manage on my own. I am working hard to recover, but the financial burden is overwhelming.
Your support would make a world of difference for me right now. Thank you in advance for your kindness and generosity—knowing that people care enough to help truly means so much to me. Any contribution, no matter the size, will help me move forward on my path to recovery.
