Hello, my name is Andrea Thompson, and I am creating this GoFundMe for my brother Aldin Campbell. He is a 37 year old father with 2 young children aged 5 & 6 who is the primary caretaker in his place located in Jamaica.

As of May, Aldin began experiencing flu-like symptoms which began getting worse as time progressed. Due to his worsening symptoms, a head and chest-scan were administered to evaluate a diagnosis, and a mass on his chest was discovered. He was later diagnosed with Myasthenia Gravis, a rare autoimmune disease that weakens the skeletal muscles in his body, thus breaking the connection between his nerves and his muscles impairing his ability to speak, eat, and breathe properly.

Within the past month, Aldin has been admitted to the ICU for the worsening of his symptoms, unable to breathe on his own ,requiring the use of a respirator. With the escalation of medical complications, the medical expenses and his treatments have become overwhelming.
