My hometown Alcantara, Cebu was devastated by Typhoon Odette last December 16th.

It is is the smallest town of south Cebu, Philippines and it badly needs assistance. Even though I'm in Canada now, I have spent a lot of my past four years in this small town where I grew up. It is very unfortunate that many of the people I know are still struggling to find basic needs like clean water and food, with 95% of the houses damaged with no roofs, and some even left homeless.

The resilience of the Filipino people will help them get through this but I know that they need whatever help that we can give. We will forward all the money raised to the local government and/or to the church. God bless us all.
