My name is Dolores (Sanchez) Gurulé and I have started this GoFundMe page for my dear cousin who has also been my best friend and sister since we were children, Albina Sanchez.

Albina has been suffering with various illnesses over the years of which the source of the illnesses had not been narrowed down by the many doctors she has gone to over the years. Recently, her condition worsened and nearly took her life. Albina went on a serious journey to find answers, and by the grace of God she found a doctor who was able to pinpoint the source of her illness. For Albina to undergo this lifesaving procedure she will need to travel to California and her insurance will not cover this cost.  The cost for the procedure will be over $49,000 not including the cost for travel and lodging while she is in California for the procedure and recovery time.

Albina has already paid over $7,000 out of pocket during the “testing and diagnosing” phase. Any amounts you can donate will be a blessing to Albina and received with a grateful heart not only from Albina, but from her children, her beloved parents, and her entire family who Albina has always been there for and supported despite any illness she is feeling.
