Hi, my name is Noel Garcia, and Alberto is my father-in-law.

Earlier this year, Alberto was diagnosed with liver failure (NASH). This diagnosis has devastated everyone who loves and cares for him so much. Alberto is an amazing man, husband, father, grandfather and friend. He has always been a man we can all depend on.

Last month Alberto was accepted to the Liver Transplant Program at Cedars-Sinai, which has given him and his family so much hope for the future. Although he has been accepted, the Liver Transplant list is long, and a transplant can take years to receive.

His health has declined significantly in the last few months, and it's been very hard on him and his family. Alberto has not been able to return to work; anyone who knows him can understand how hard this is for him, he loves his job. Many of his friends have asked how they can help, and I have started this GoFundMe for those who wish to donate to Alberto in his time of need. If you cannot donate, please know that messages sent to me for Alberto are greatly appreciated and will help keep his spirits up. I will make sure he gets them all.
