My family is facing an incredibly difficult time right now. My husband, Albert, has been experiencing serious medical emergencies, including episodes of syncope that have caused him to faint while working as a security guard. During his most recent episode, he crashed his company’s car, and as a result, he is unable to work. Albert is our only source of income, and without his paycheck, we are struggling to make ends meet. To make matters worse, we are having trouble paying for the EEG and heart monitor that his doctor says he urgently needs. I am unable to work myself due to two herniated disks in my lower back, which has made our situation even more challenging.

On top of our medical and financial struggles, a tree recently fell on our detached garage, causing significant damage to the building and many of our belongings inside. While we do have homeowners insurance, our deductible is much more than we can afford. We have been without a steady paycheck since April 2, 2026, and we are now at risk of losing our utilities and not having enough to eat. Albert was born with an aortic stenosis and had an artificial heart valve placed in 2013, and now he is facing new and frightening symptoms, including a pacing wire protruding from his chest. We are desperate to get him the medical care he needs and to keep our family afloat during this crisis.

The funds raised will help us pay for Albert’s essential medical tests and treatments, repair the damage to our garage, and cover our most urgent living expenses.
