Unfortunately, I sustained multiple injuries while on the job that caused me to stop working. My much-needed surgeries are being denied repeatedly by the Workers' Compensation Board and the MTA (they are self-insured).

To add insult to my current crisis, I was given an ultimatum to return to work as is or face TERMINATION after 13 dedicated years of service.
