Help Albergue Pergatuzoo Save Abandoned Animals

A couple of years ago, I came across a post on Facebook that completely broke my heart. It was about a dog, Simon, who was dropped off at an animal shelter in Mexico City, along with a note that said: "I'm leaving Simon with you, he is my dog. I don't want my dad to hit him. He cries a lot because there's no food. I'm leaving you my savings for his tortillas. Don't hit him because my dad hits him a lot. Simon eats a lot. Please don't take him away. When I grow up, I'll be back for him."

The shelter that took him in is Albergue Pergatuzoo, the largest animal shelter in Mexico City, and currently cares for over 2,500 animals: dogs, cats, and any animal that has been abandoned, mistreated, or forgotten.

The kind of help they need is way beyond what I can give on my own, so I have decided to set up this page to raise more money for them. All donations will go to the shelter and their animals. I am willing to provide full transparency of updates, receipts, etc.

Please help these animals receive the food, medicine, shelter, and care they deserve. Every dollar will make a difference!
