For the past 13 years, Alba Moreno has spent each Saturday morning serving Waco Downtown Farmers Market customers with her brand of love: steaming hot pupusas made-to-order with a smile. Affectionately known as "The Pupusa Lady", Alba has been brightening the day of market customers and vendors alike week after week for years.

In November of this year, Alba suffered a devastating stroke. As she fights this battle with her family by her side, the Waco Downtown Farmers Market is here to rally the community that Alba loves so dearly.

Every dollar raised will go directly to Alba for making mobility accommodations to her home, providing medical equipment to assist her in her rehabilitation, and providing financial support while she is unable to work.

Alba has a long road of recovery ahead of her, and her Farmers Market family is here to support her as continues to recover.
