My name is Jeannie and I am raising funds for Alba, who is so much more than our daughter’s caregiver/nanny. She is family to everyone who knows her. For years, she has worked tirelessly here in the United States, while also sending love and support back home to her family in Nicaragua. She has always been the one to take care of others, offering kindness, faith, and strength wherever it was needed.

Recently, Alba received the devastating news that she has cholangiocarcinoma, a rare and aggressive cancer. Her life has been turned upside down, and now it is our turn to support her in the same way she has supported so many.

We are exploring every treatment option available, both in the U.S. and abroad, to give her the best chance possible. At this time, the best option for treatment may be in Spain, where the costs are significant. To cover two weeks of treatment abroad, travel expenses, housing, food, and to support Alba with ongoing care at home, we have set a fundraising goal of $30,000.

This is an urgent and heavy journey, but with faith, community, and generosity, we can help Alba fight for her life and give her the care she truly deserves.
