Alba has just made the high school cheer squad at Vallivue High School as a freshman, marking a huge milestone in her life. This achievement is especially meaningful because of the medical challenges she has faced. In December of 2023, she was life flighted to Sutter Children’s Hospital in Sacramento, where doctors discovered a congenital hole in her heart that had gone undiagnosed. She underwent surgery, and within six months, was diagnosed with SVT, which required an ablation at Stanford Children’s Hospital in Palo Alto. Despite these obstacles, Alba has always been a ray of sunshine and an active girl, holding onto her dream of being a cheerleader since she was a little girl.
The costs for uniforms, travel, competition and choreography fees, and other cheer squad expenses add up quickly. Supporting this fundraiser will help cover these essential costs, allowing Alba to participate fully and confidently in the cheer squad. Your generosity will help her focus on her passion and make the most of this incredible opportunity, rather than worrying about the financial burden.
Our family is deeply grateful for any support you can offer. Every donation, big or small, brings Alba closer to fulfilling a dream she’s had since she was a little girl. Thank you for helping us make this possible and for being part of her journey.
