Help Alaska Walk Again - Support her Surgery and Recovery
Donation protected
Meet Alaska, our feisty, fun-loving, five-year-old Jack Russell Terrier. If you’ve ever known a Jack Russell, you know they come with a big personality packed into a small body – full of energy, curiosity, and an unstoppable zest for life. Alaska has always been just that: chasing birds, leaping through fields, and ruling our home with attitude and affection.
But recently, everything changed.
Alaska has been diagnosed with slipped discs in her spine, a condition that is not only extremely painful but also life-altering. We’ve watched our once-sparkling dog become lethargic and sedated, her playful spirit dimmed by constant pain and heavy medication. It’s heartbreaking.
So far, we’ve spent $4,000 on vet visits, diagnostics, and emergency care. Now we’re facing another $5,000 in costs for critical surgery, follow-up treatments, and medication – care that could give Alaska her quality of life back.
We’re doing everything we can to make this happen, but the financial burden is heavy. That’s why we’re reaching out to our friends, family, and fellow animal lovers. If you’ve ever loved a dog – or seen what one means to a family – we’re asking for your help.
Even a small donation can make a huge difference. Every little helps. Every bit goes directly toward Alaska’s surgery and recovery. And if you can’t donate, sharing this page would mean the world to us.
We want to see Alaska running again. Barking at birds again. Being her happy, mischievous self again.
Thank you so much for reading, caring, and helping us give Alaska the second chance she deserves.
