Help the 2009 Alaska Rush Soccer Team represent Alaska at the US Youth Soccer Presidents Cup National Championships (July 7th -11th, 2026). Our team achieved an extraordinary milestone by winning the US Youth Soccer Far West Presidents Cup Regional Championship. Through hard work, determination, and countless hours of training, these young athletes earned the opportunity to represent Alaska at the US Youth Soccer Presidents Cup National Championships (July 7th -11th, 2026). Competing on the national stage is a tremendous honor and reflects the dedication, perseverance, and character these players have demonstrated throughout their soccer journey.
While this exciting opportunity is a reward for the team's success, traveling to Nationals in Wichita, Kansas comes with significant expenses, including airfare, lodging, meals, and tournament-related costs. As an Alaska team, the cost of competing at the national level is substantially greater than it is for many teams in the Lower 48, especially on short notice. Our goal is to ensure that every player has the opportunity to participate in this once-in-a-lifetime experience regardless of financial circumstances.
We are fortunate to live in a community that consistently supports local youth athletics. The generosity of local businesses and community members helps make opportunities like this possible and allows our players to focus on representing Alaska with pride rather than the financial burden of travel. However, earning a spot to the US Youth Soccer Presidents Cup National Championships was an exciting achievement that created additional travel expenses beyond what our team had planned for this season. We are now seeking community support to help ensure every one of our players has the opportunity to represent Alaska on the national stage.
