UPDATE: I rushed Alaska to an emergency surgery today (9/18) because she hadn’t eaten, drank, peed or pooped in days and was going into a potential septic shock. Which has increased the bills and stress and my poor cats sadness and pain.

If you know me, you know my cat Alaska, and how important she is to me. She was abandoned in a gutter and raised by an adoptive barn cat at a friends farm and for 11 years she’s slept on my face and followed me everywhere in our home. I love her more than literally anything on earth and woke up to her needing an emergency ER visit and procedure for a prolapsed rectum. (Gross). She is severely dehydrated and needed a fluid IV and multiple enemas and sedation and medications for pain and discomfort. Upon x rays they realized she was completely clogged up and unable to pass anything on her own. Right now the bill is at $3300 for me taking her home, but they wanted to keep her overnight and do more procedures that I cannot afford currently so I stressfully declined further assistance. If she doesn’t get better at home I’ll be forced to bring her back and adjust the price of this gofundme to the additional $6000 they needed. Any amount helps, if you’ve been to my house you’ve met Alaska and know she’s like a daughter to me.
