My name is Alan. I'm 23 and a working soon-to-be dad in June of 2026. I have been focusing all of my energy and finances towards preparing for my son. I had everything ready for him to come home to a stable and safe home, until a careless driver got distracted and rear-ended my parked car. Fortunately, no one was hurt. Unfortunately, the car was totaled and was on a loan which outvalued the vehicle's worth. So now I'm stuck with no car and the insurance payout going toward the lender and a baby due any time now. I've never wanted to be the type of person to resort to asking others for money, but I'm now not only providing for myself but for two others, and I don't want them to struggle for something that was caused by someone who was so careless, while I work my butt off to provide everything for them. I'm keeping my head up for them because although something bad happened and set us back, I'll still work my hardest for a great life for us.
