Help is needed to Cover Funeral expenses for Alan (child 4 years old) and medical expenses for Alan's father (currently at the hospital)

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — A child is dead and two adults were critically injured in a hit-and-run collision Wednesday night on the city’s near southeast side.

Coroners identified the child Thursday morning as Alan Marcelo Salas-Garcia, 4.

At 9:15 p.m. Wednesday, Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officers responded to the intersection of South State Avenue and East Raymond Street on a report of a personal injury accident. The intersection is just east of Interstate 65.

Officers found at least two vehicles and a bicyclist were involved. Indianapolis Emergency Medical Services arrived to the scene and pronounced at least one person dead.Investigators believe a white Dodge Charger was traveling eastbound on East Raymond Street at an extremely high rate of speed and ran a red light. After running the red light, the Charger struck a silver Honda Civic being driven by a woman. The Charger then struck a man on a bicycle that was towing a trailer with a child onboard.

The child died at 10 p.m. Wednesday at Riley Hospital for Children.

The bicyclist was taken to Eskenazi Hospital in critical condition. The woman whose Honda was first struck by the Charger was taken to Eskenazi Hospital in critical condition.

Alan's Dad was riding the bycicle ...now he is under several surgeries in order to live.
