Hi, my name is Alanna Ward and I’m 18 years old. I never imagined I would be in this position. My mother, Jennifer Ward is currently in hospice care, and we have been told she is only days away from passing.I’m creating this campaign to help cover her medical expenses and support our family during this incredibly difficult time.

We were originally told that she may have had six more months about 2 weeks ago, so we believed we had more time to prepare. Unfortunately, her condition declined very quickly, and now we are facing this reality without any funds in place.

She has been living with cervical cancer for the past three years and fought incredibly hard. Over the last couple of months, she has been battling serious infections and was unable to continue chemotherapy. Since then, the cancer has spread rapidly throughout her body, and her health declined much faster than anyone expected.

My mom was on disability, and there is no money left to cover funeral or cremation expenses. I’m currently unemployed trying to focus on school and basketball , and my god mom and I are doing our best to figure out how to handle everything during an incredibly painful time. We are grieving while also trying to solve something that feels impossible.

Asking for help is very hard for me, but we truly do not know what else to do. Any donation, no matter the amount, would go directly toward covering my mother’s end-of-life and funeral expenses. If you are unable to donate, sharing this page would mean just as much.
