Help Alanna Bradshaw claim her life back from MS!

Writing has always been a second nature to me, where words easily slip right off my fingertips. But, this time it’s different. It’s different because I never imagined writing a piece like this. A piece where my big sister can’t be the strong one anymore and needs me to do what she has always done for me; step up.

On September 13, 2023, Alanna collapsed at work and had to be rushed to the hospital. We assumed it was a side effect to her working 100 plus hours between her 2 jobs, as lead pharmacy technician and working with schizophrenic teenage girls, but we were wrong. My sister at the age of 36 was diagnosed with an aggressive form of Multiple Sclerosis (MS) an autoimmune disease where the immune system attacks her protective lining of the nerves inside her spinal cord, which causes disruption in the brain & nervous system.

As of today, Alanna has been in the hospital for almost 20 days!!! Since Alanna’s hospitalization she has developed issues with

-Walking, she now has to use a walker

-Her vision, she now has to wear an eye patch

-Her speech and writing, she is currently in therapy to help relearn these skills

-Dramatic weight loss due to not having the full ability to swallow any more

My sister's life changed in a matter of days in every aspect! Alanna has always been that person to pour into everyone else even if her cup had run dry. So, with this go fund me I’m hoping that this time around we can show her that her cup is worthy of being poured into also!
