My name is Alanna, and I’m reaching out because I’m facing a truly difficult time in my life. I suffer from a multitude of chronic illnesses that have made it impossible for me to work or live anywhere near a normal life. Every day is a struggle, and I’m unable to afford the medications, testing, treatment, oxygen concentrator + supplies, and other equipment that my insurance doesn’t cover. Even getting to my doctor’s appointments is a challenge, as the cost of gas adds up quickly. I’ve had to sacrifice so much, including my education and most of my life, just to try to manage my health and financial situation. My credit cards are maxed out, my student loans are overdue, and now I need to move to a different state to access the medical treatment I desperately need. The expenses for moving, deposits, rent, and transportation are overwhelming, and I simply can’t do it alone.

I am not usually one to ask for this kind of help, so please believe me when I say that every bit counts and will make a huge difference for me as I battle my worsening chronic illnesses. Many of these conditions have spiraled out of control, leading to uncontrollable seizures, losing a heartbeat, and not being able to functionally breathe. Thankfully, I have recently been blessed to find the right specialists who can get me the treatment and diagnoses I need, and potentially help me get some of my life back. All efforts and donations will go directly into helping that cause—covering medications, oxygen tanks and equipment, moving expenses, catching up on bills, and gas to see my specialists.
