It is with heavy hearts that we share the unexpected passing of my 17-year-old nephew, Zaccheaus C. He was taken from us far too soon, leaving our family—especially his mother, my sister, Alana Dempsey—devastated by this unimaginable loss.

Zaccheaus was a loving son, grandson, nephew, and friend. He had his whole life ahead of him, and his absence has left a hole in our hearts that words cannot fully describe. As we try to come to terms with this tragedy, our family is also facing the unexpected financial burden of funeral and memorial expenses.

I am organizing this fundraiser on behalf of my sister to help ease that burden during the most difficult time of her life. All funds raised will go directly toward funeral services, burial costs, and related expenses so that our family can focus on grieving and honoring Zaccheaus’s life.
