Please Help Alan's Recovery

The night before Halloween 2020, my father had 3 strokes while he was driving his RV Bus with his wife Denise. He pulled over twice because he was not feeling well, until finally having to be airlifted to the Hospital. For those of you that know my dad, you know that he is in good health, so this comes to us as a great shock!
The strokes affected his vision, speech, cognition and balance, and although his recovery was doubtful at first, he improved greatly during his 10 day stay at the ICU. After 2 brain surgeries and many CT scans to ensure there were no more blood clots, he is currently in neurological care before being moved to a stroke rehabilitation facility, hopefully today. He will have to have intensive rehab to regain some sort of normalcy, and although we are very hopeful, the journey will be long and difficult and unfortunately very pricey.
The Helicopter Airlift alone cost $40,000, and I am sure the 12 day hospital stay in addition to future rehabilitation care will be a huge strain on my Dad & Denise. While they do have health insurance, not everything will be covered, such as making adjustments to the house once he is able to come home.
With your help, we will be able to make his recovery a little more comfortable and reduce the stress of an already very stressful situation. Any amount will help and will be truly appreciated. With heartfelt thanks,
~Nigel & Family
