Help Alan avoid HOMELESSNESS while he is fighting cancer (it's treatable)

Hi, this is Brooke, Alan was unable to type this, so I am using his words:

Hi, this is Alan; for those not familiar with my situation, I was diagnosed with cancer on May 2, 2022. I haven't been able to work since. After 2 weeks in the hospital, I was due to start treatments (chemo and radiation). Due to the inefficiencies of the US medical system, I was bounced around from doctor to doctor until getting hooked up with my current health team. This required redoing everything from the ground floor to get the treatment re-approved and set up. During this time, I was not getting paid. EDD based my disability on a part-time job I had prior to working for the US Postal Service, which was clearly not enough to live. I have been unable to pay rent since I was in the hospital and the medical bills have piled up.

I was hoping to involve as few people as possible, but instead, I am realizing I need the help of every person I know to get me through this incredible nightmare. Eviction is looming as I have not paid rent for the past 4 months. If I am evicted, I have nowhere to go. I am just starting my treatment as of September 13, 2022. I would not physically be able to move or deal with being homeless while going through treatment.

Thank you for anything you can provide, it is really appreciated (and needed to keep me alive). If you cannot donate at this time, please, please, please share with anyone who may be able to help.

I want to be more transparent from here on out. Here of some of the things I have been dealing with:

-I can't swallow

-I am constantly spitting up blood

-I have to be fed through a G tube

-I have lost over 30lbs (due to malnutrition chemo and radiation are dangerous)

-They had to remove my teeth so my jaw wouldn't break and the radiation could hit the right spot.

-As the cancer progresses, it is harder and harder for me to communicate and manage my life.
