My name is Alan but I took the name of a Spanish monk who lived long ago. His name was Juan Alvarez-John Of The Cross. I have been tormented for many years not knowing it was GOD compelling me to follow HIS path. I did not understand any of this until I was 62 years old. I complied! I was blindly following but knew not why. It cost many, many thousands of dollars, taking beatings, and lost opportunities for doing so.

Now I am writing a short history of Kenosha from the years of the early 20th century until today to tell people what happened to us. It will include the murder of my "big sister" Mary Ellen Kaldenberg in 1967. She was taken from us at the age of 17. The research and study has been a drain on resources, and I need help.
