Help Alan & Drip Recover from Financial Scam

If you know Alan, you know that he puts his entire heart into everything he does. Alan has spent the last few years pouring blood, sweat, tears, and many sleepless nights into creating his beverage company, Drip. I can honestly say I don't know anyone who works harder and is more passionate about his company than Alan. After two extremely successful years of festival runs with Drip, Alan was finally starting to get ahead financially in both his business and his personal finances. Until last weekend - when it was all quickly taken away.

Last weekend, Alan was the victim of an extremely elaborate and horrible banking scam. I was sitting right next to him when this occurred, and this was like nothing I had ever seen or heard of. Coming from someone who is overly skeptical of most things, I was completely fooled. There was no link or code involved, but they somehow got access to his online account. After moving money around and convincing him he needed to close this account to keep it safe, the scammers were able to clear him out of everything he had (from both his business account and personal checking and savings). Alan was left with absolutely nothing. Unfortunately, Chase Bank and the Westminster Police have been unable to do anything and believe the people are unable to be tracked and are part of an elaborate scamming fraud ring.

I created this fundraiser to help my partner and best friend rebuild his business account and financial savings account after this terrible incident. We hoped to move into a house together next year, and Alan has big plans for the next steps to grow Drip. Without finances, neither will happen.
