Hi, I'm Alan and in December of 2023, I was laid off, dumped, then diagnosed with cancer. I spent the majority of 2024 doing chemotherapy and radiation. I had a very good response to the treatment, but not 100%. As a result, 2025 was filled with lots of follow-ups, MRIs, and other exploratory treatments. Very recently, I received the good news that what is left of the tumor is removable with only standard monitoring following up. It's the best news I could have hoped for.

Since December of 2023, I have been living off savings, going into debt, selling possessions, Uber Eats-ing, and earning what I could on YouTube given the circumstances of the last two years. Now that I'm mostly done with my cancer episode, it's time to get my life back on track. I have promise in the YouTube channel, as well as various other ventures that have a promising chance at turning into full-time employment. However, the well is pretty dry.

If you have ever wanted to help me with my cancer ordeal, now is the time. The world is on fire, money is already tight, and there are other causes that could use the funds. But so could I, and it's time for me to be okay with asking for a little help because everyone tells me they want to help.

Let me be clear, if you can't or don't want to donate, that's cool. I'll get through this either way. I would rather just have a little cushion to help with the day-to-day. And also Bernie needs to maintain her supply of snacks and toys.
