In an effort to help our family...No matter what they have been through over the years, this is a family that would never ask for help. After dealing with so many extreme financial stressors on their own for years on end with challenging medical diagnosis for their daughter (Jojo) and wife (Tamaira), they hit a breaking point and yesterday was that day.

For years they have kept their head-held high, silently under pressure, with no end in medical needs, insurance claims, procedures, quietly working through their financial burden. Alan just wanted to make sure they could take care of all the ups and downs that have hit them unexpectantly. With Jojo having an extremely rare diagnosis and Tamaira with some severe medical problems of her own that were already difficult to navigate, another event hit them hard enough that will be difficult to recover from without help from friends and family.

On February 10th, my brother-in-law, Alan Pecjak, had severe heart attack symptoms and was admitted emergently into the hospital. He has put his heart and soul into taking care of the family to get through the medical ups and downs, and unfortunately, he waited to seek care due to the stress and every day needs that they were attempting to manage on their own.

He underwent a 5-vessel bypass surgery at 48-years-old on 2/13/25 after getting him stable. With already tons of uncertainty on how to pay years of ongoing medical needs and time off of work, we are asking for any gift from others to take some of the burden off their family after such a big blow. With many years of silently dealing with medical and financial woes that they have always worked diligently to manage, your generosity will empower Tamaira and the Pecjak family to focus on what truly matters, standing strong and healing for Alan.
