Alan has always been a special part of my family. After losing my Chihuahua, Tina, during an emergency surgery a few years ago, my husband encouraged me to adopt a cat to help heal my heart. That’s how Cleo came into our lives. We thought she was spayed, but she surprised us by being pregnant, and Alan was one of her kittens. From the moment he was born, Alan has brought so much joy and comfort to our home.
Since January, Alan has struggled with urinary issues, leading to several stressful trips to the vet and pet ER. Despite medications and treatments, his condition worsened, and this morning he became very sick again. The vet discovered a severe blockage that needs immediate surgery. Right now, Alan is at Care Pet Animal Hospital in Jacksonville, receiving pain medication and being kept comfortable until he can have surgery in the morning. I was able to put some money down, but I won’t have enough to cover the full cost of his care.
The funds raised will go directly to the veterinarian clinic to cover Alan’s surgery, hospital stay, lab work, and radiology. The clinic will keep him until the blockage is cleared and he’s well enough to come home. Alan means the world to me, and I’m so grateful for any support or shares during this urgent time. Thank you for helping us give Alan the chance to heal and come home.
