Help Alan & Gay Lee and Family after House Fire

Hi there, this is John and Simon, the eldest sons of Alan and Gay Lee. On the 15th of September, a house in Kulpara caught fire and spread to our parents’ home which also burned down.

Thank you to all our friends, family, and networks who have offered to support us in this time. We have set up this fundraiser for those who have asked for a way to contribute financially. Alan, Gay and the rest of our family are extremely appreciative of your support. ❤️

Due to unfortunate circumstances, there was no house insurance in place at the time of the fire. This has left our family in a very difficult financial situation due to the ongoing mortgage, demolition, and re-homing costs. Whilst contents insurance and generous short-term living arrangements are already playing a role in helping our parents get back on their feet, their long-term future has been put at risk.

We are extraordinarily grateful for the outpouring of support and compassion from so many people. We are trying our best to seek out what supports are available to us, but we are also very grateful for any aid you are willing to give.
