This is not my favorite thing to do... but I am biting the bullet and asking for help. Tari and I find ourselves confronted with some financial challenges, due mainly to Tari having been laid off from her job. This loss of income accounts for 65% of our household income, so it is a tough pill to swallow! Not only that, but she has also been the one through whom our family had insurance coverage. While it appears that the insurance has not yet terminated, we fear that it will on short order. Given all of the medications that we need, and the fact that I recently (and quite unexpectedly) had to undergo surgery and begin dialysis treatments for end-stage chronic kidney disease, the prospect of losing our insurance is weighing very heavy on us.
Tari is actively job searching and has a fair number of good leads, so we hope that it won't be long before she finds her next opportunity... but in the meantime, we are concerned about being able to keep up with the day-to-day. For any of you that are willing to help us out however you are able, we are eternally grateful!
Thank you all,
Alan and Tari
